ABSTRACT
The car pre-accident alerting system is a collision prevention device that helps drivers avoid crashes by informing them. This device will not take over the vehicle’s controls, but rather warn the driver to get back in their lane. This project has the capability of alarming and displaying the outcome to the driver on a six-sided screen. It has no ability to bring the car to a halt or reduce its pace. The infrared sensors utilized in this project have a range of distance to an object that can be measured.
