Court Jurisdiction: Delving into Limited and General Forms

Jurisdiction means an authority provided to any person to exercise any means. Specifically, the jurisdiction of courts means power conferred to any legal entity to exercise law. Depending on the case, there are two aspects of courts of jurisdiction, Limited Jurisdiction, and General Jurisdiction. Now we will build up scenarios for both and their consequences.

General jurisdiction is a global handler of all cases. It is to know that “hey can handle almost any type of controversy.” (Karlen, n.d.) Examples of such crimes are first-time demeanors, serial murder cases, and other cases that require special attention.
