3.1 Research Design

It is feasible to follow the pragmatic epistemological framework and do qualitative research. This paradigm was chosen for this study in part because it is associated with action, making a difference, and learning useful knowledge. The pragmatic approach, together with the philosophy that underpins it, suggests that the qualitative technique is the one that should be used for this research if it is to achieve its aims and objectives.
