Changing Structure of Equity Markets

After shifting stock markets to Amazon’s AWS cloud on June 27, 2022, the revenue of Big Three companies soared immensely. Amazon’s AWS, Microsoft’s AZURE, and Alphabet’s GOOGLE cloud grew at 33%, 40%, and 36%, respectively. This tie-up shifted the stock market of NASDAQ to AWS’s cloud. The features of AWS’s cloud included data transfer at a fast rate with minimal delays, which is pleasing for high-frequency traders (Ozelli, 2023).

Due to this tie-up, the consumers are now able to use the analytical tools of AWS’s cloud, such as machine learning, throughout the entire stock exchange platform.
