Nevertheless, this tale and many more stories, it is made of, act as a greater reason in which the reader is invited into the beliefs, understand and priorities of the world according to the what the Greek people believed in. The philosophy which is revealed through this tale is the one where nature and man are in regular clash (Glacken, 1992).
