Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is a restaurant based in America, under the Yum! Brand. It is one of the leading franchises in the fast-food sector globally. Its headquarters are located in Louisville, Kentucky; Texas, in Dallas, United States. It was founded by Colonel Harland David Sanders, in 1930. It is globally famous for its specialization, that is, fried chicken. In fact, it is the largest chain of fried chicken in the world. It also sells kebabs, sandwiches, salads, and hamburgers. Various factors like objectives of KFC, customer requirements, target market group, beliefs, and value systems of the top management determine the organizational structure of KFC. Well, a structured organization promotes work efficiency, smooth functioning of the internal organization, and also a delegation of authority and responsibility.
